I installed it about a week ago but haven't had the opportunity to use it other than a post-installation boot-up test.

Did you check your old images in LR or C1 if your GPS data shows Altitude?

Thank you. Is that with Firmware version 2.0 or the older 1.1?
Can you check your images from FW version 1.1 please?
FW 2.0 has been pulled from Sony's site until they fix it.
Thanks
My camera has always had v2 firmware from new, I got it about a month ago.

Also worth mentioning is that C1 will process your DNG files if you ever converted your native RAW files to Adobe's DNG (like me)
C1 has a learning curve BUT is MUCH rewarding with the end result than LR ever was.

Just updated to FW 2.1 on the camera, still same problem no Altitude is recorded to the images.
Does your altitude also show up in the camera when reviewing the image or only LONG / LAT?
I only get LONG / LAT info also when reviewing in the camera preview LCD.

The camera only show Lat and Long, there is no option to see altitude on the screen but the data is there, here's one I just took with the new firmware.
