So from what I read this is basically a freshwater sinkhole. Amazingly clear water, especially considering the tourism. Interesting place, but I get a little uncomfortable in terrestial caves, much less underwater!

Yes, I don't really like caves that are full of air, much less water. It is a beautiful place and wonderful filming, however. For those of you who are non-divers, I should say that a great many divers consider cave diving the most difficult sort of diving. Equipment failure with no overhead ceiling, i.e., openwater, means that you go up - and breathe. Failure in a cave means that you drown. I am certified as a rescue diver, by the way, but have never wanted to do cave diving.
