Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD for APS-C E-mount

I saw Tamron’s announcement for this lens today, so I thought I’d start this thread to discuss it.

Looks like a great complement to their 17-70 f/2.8. It lacks vibration compensation, but that’s not a big issue for wide angle. If they announce a fast telephoto for APS-C they’ll have a nice trio for us APS-C fans.

I have one coming tomorrow... I did not like the image quality of the Sony 10-18mm f/4 lens. I don't know if it was the specific copy of that lens or whether the lens generally doesn't have the quality I demand.
I had the same problem when I first started using Sony mirrorless gear. I could not find a medium length zoom lens that had acceptable IQ.
Then the 28-75mm f/2.8 Tamron came along! I originally purchased it for my A7iii but began also using it on my APSC cameras AND I LOVED IT!
I am expecting the same with this lens since I usually shoot with two cameras. an A7iii and an A6600...
